Chrismas Boxes 2025

This year, our annual Christmas initiative was all about spreading love and joy to the incredible girls from the Black Girls Rising organization. We created 100 gift bags with essentials, treats and toys. It’s a small way to remind these girls how valued and special they are this festive season. A huge thank you to everyone who supported this initiative and helped us make the holidays a little brighter for these young girls 🌟

For Women’s Month, August 2020, we hosted a virtual run to end period poverty. We asked our community to accept the challenge of running towards combatting period poverty and pledging to donate R10 for every 1km they complete.

menstrual health workshops

We collaborated with SafePad South Africa to host a series of menstrual health workshops across various locations in Cape Town. We taught school girls about menstruation, menstrual health and period positivity, as well as provided them with SafePads, a reusable pad that will allow them to menstruate with dignity for the next 5 years.
