Abigail de Waal
Project Director & Creative Lead
I have always loved volunteering and working with kids and young adults. In high school, I participated in the International Young People Award of Edinburgh, a program that fosters growth and learning beyond the classroom. This experience instilled a strong sense of commitment, responsibility, and fulfillment while emphasizing the value of personal development and community engagement.
It was through this program that my journey in volunteering began. Ever since, I have enjoyed sharing my time and skills to contribute to something meaningful.
I enjoy doing the workshops with The CORA Project especially. It’s a unique opportunity to connect, with young learners and share valuable information I wish I had known about my body when I first started menstruating.
